Opal Riddle, PT, DPT

Opal is a 1983 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy, and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy there in 2009. Prior to founding Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center with Tom DiAngelis, PT, in 1988, Opal worked at the University of Cincinnati Hospital where she gained experience in a wide range of physical therapy settings and played an instrumental role in developing the physical therapy component of the Work Evaluation Rehabilitation and Research Center. Opal has served as a consultant for a Fortune 500 Company in the medical field, helping with cumulative trauma disorders and ergonomics.

She has consulted with a large neurosurgical group to develop lectures for physical therapists. Additionally, she has lectured for the local Dental Society, for physical therapy students at the University of Cincinnati Medical College, for physical therapy students at the College of Mount Saint Joseph, and lectured on exercise and wellness at other community venues. Furthermore, Opal and colleagues continue to provide educational observation experiences in physical therapy to local medical residents and physicians.

Opal has presented at the second annual osteoporosis conference held in southwestern Ohio on the topic of osteoporosis and exercise titled, "Why Weight! The Efficacy of Weight-Bearing and Resistive Exercise in the Treatment of Osteoporosis." Ms. Riddle has co-authored an article for a national healthcare magazine, My Family Doctor, on exercise and arthritis titled, "Joint Pain? Retrain!" She co-authored a chapter in the book titled, Joint Hypermobility Handbook. She has served as the Co-Chair of the Ohio Physical Therapy Political Action Committee. She is also a Mission Committee member of the Ohio River Valley Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.

Opal has extensive experience in all areas of orthopedic physical therapy with focus on clients with orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders. Opal has also focused on Women's Health issues and served as a lab assistant for an educational program presented by a national educator in the Women's Health field.

 
   
Nancy Kleespies, PT

Nancy received her Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State University in 1983 and has experience in a variety of settings including out-patient orthopedics, acute and long-term acute care and home P.T. Her course work over the years has included posture/core strengthening, total joint replacement rehab, sports medicine as well as knee, ankle, shoulder and spine rehab. Nancy is a member of the National Physical Therapy Association as well as the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Sections of the APTA. For many years she has enjoyed running and downhill skiing and is married with 3 children.

   
   

Crystal Seamon PT, DPT, OCS, ATC

Crystal graduate from The Ohio State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Athletic Training, and in 2007 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, Crystal went on to complete an Orthopaedic Residency in Physical Therapy at OSU Sports Medicine. Crystal received her Board Certification in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 2009.

In December 2011, Crystal completed the Pilates teacher-training program at Pendleton Pilates in both reformer and mat programs. She enjoys combining these concepts into her treatment with patients, and actively pursues continuing education in this field. Crystal also enjoys running and cycling.

Crystal is a very active member in the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. She has been a member since 2004, and has served as Central District PAC Coordinator, Central District Chair, and is currently the Secretary at the State level.

   

Melissa LaFollette, PT, OCS, LMT

Melissa graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001. She then obtained a license in massage therapy through the Cincinnati School of Medical Massage. Prior to working at Comprehensive Physical Therapy center, Melissa has worked in various orthopedic and sports medicine settings, including Cincinnati Physical Therapy, and Wellington Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

In 2008 Melissa earned a certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She has taken numerous continuing education courses, including Mulligan techniques, Jones Institute Strain Counterstrain, and Kinesio Tape. Melissa enjoys treating all orthopedic diagnoses, but especially of the spine. Melissa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She likes running, yoga, Pilates, and dance.
