Opal Riddle, PT, DPT Co-owner E-mail: opal.riddle@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Opal is a 1983 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy, and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy there in 2009. Prior to founding Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center with Tom DiAngelis, PT, in 1988, Opal worked at the University of Cincinnati Hospital where she gained experience in a wide range of physical therapy settings and played an instrumental role in developing the physical therapy component of the Work Evaluation Rehabilitation and Research Center. Opal has served as a consultant for Fortune 500 Company in the medical field, helping with cumulative trauma disorders and ergonomics. She has consulted with a large neurosurgical group to develop lectures for physical therapists. Additionally, she has lectured for the local Dental Society, for physical therapy students at the University of Cincinnati Medical College, and for physical therapy students at the College of Mount Saint Joseph. Furthermore, Opal and colleagues continue to provide educational observation experiences in physical therapy to local medical residents and physicians. Opal has presented at the second annual osteoporosis conference held in southwestern Ohio on the topic of osteoporosis and exercise titled, "Why Weight! The Efficacy of Weight-Bearing and Resistive Exercise in the Treatment of Osteoporosis." Ms. Riddle has co-authored an article of a national healthcare magazine, My Family Doctor, on exercise and arthritis titled, "Joint Pain? Retrain!" She serves the Ohio physical therapy community as Co-Chair of the Ohio Physical Therapy Political Action Committee. She is also a Mission Committee member of the Ohio River Valley Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Opal has extensive experience in all areas of orthopedic physical therapy with focus on working with clients with orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders. Opal has also focused on Women's Health issues and served as a lab assistant for an educational program presented by a national educator in the Women's Health field. |

Eric Olive, PT E-mail: eric.oliver@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Eric is a 2001 graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and in the near future plans on beginning graduate studies to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Eric has a well-rounded background in physical therapy from practicing in several types of settings including nursing homes, a foot and ankle clinic, and outpatient orthopedic and neurological clinics. Through his various experiences Eric has developed a diverse knowledge base he now applies in the outpatient setting at CPTC, utilizing manual treatment techniques and specific exercise regimens. Eric currently specializes in treating biomechanical movement dysfunctions of the upper and lower body, Multiple Sclerosis, and low back pain. Eric is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is an APTA certified clinical instructor who enjoys on-site teaching of physical therapy students. In 2007, Eric was recognized as Mount St. Joseph's Outstanding Clinical Instructor. Eric is currently involved in the running community providing injury prevention screening clinics and education classes. He also prepares new and experienced endurance runners/walkers to participate in half-marathon races as a coach on staff with a national non-profit organization. Eric has assisted in developing and instructing a boot camp fitness program, and in his spare time enjoys traveling, music, the outdoors, running, and competing in triathlons. |

Maria Pongonis, DPT E-mail: maria.pongonis@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Maria received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Health Sciences with a concentration in sports biomechanics, then continued on to graduate in 2009 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She focused her clinical education experiences in neuromuscular rehabilitation and orthopedics, while having the opportunity to learn under Tom DiAngelis, Jeanine Gunn, and Phyllis Schulte at Comprehensive's Mason office. Maria's past experience as a Division I collegiate volleyball player helps her to understand the unique challenges when working with athletes while trying to recover from injury and optimize performance. Maria has also established ties with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestra regarding education on pain management and prevention. As a classically trained cellist and one who has a passion for music, Maria hopes to branch out to provide additional education to members of the performing arts community. Maria has been an American Physical Therapy Association member since 2006 and enjoys staying active in the community via a local running group, coaching and playing volleyball. |

Nancy Kleespies E-mail: nancy.kleespies@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Nancy received her Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State University in 1983 and has experience in a variety of settings including out-patient orthopedics, acute and long-term acute care and home P.T. Her course work over the years has included posture/core strengthening, total joint replacement rehab, sports medicine as well as knee, ankle, shoulder and spine rehab. Nancy is a member of the National Physical Therapy Association as well as the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Sections of the APTA. For many years she has enjoyed running and downhill skiing and is married with 3 children. |
