Cathy Newman, PT Cathy enjoys treating all types of orthopedic patients, but she has a particular interest in patients with spine dysfunction. Cathy has had advanced training in manual techniques of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine through the University of St. Augustine. She has attended numerous continuing education courses with an emphasis on orthopedics. She also has been trained in the McKenzie approach to back pain, muscle energy techniques and Mulligan techniques. |

Meg Gleim, PT, OCS Meg's primary area of focus is orthopedics including neck and back pain, joint pain and dysfunction, and post-operative care. In 2001, she became certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In addition to working in the clinic, Meg is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, presently serving as the treasurer of the Ohio Chapter of the APTA. In early 2007, Meg became the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education for CPTC. She is responsible for coordinating student clinical internships with the physical therapy schools. On a personal note, Meg is married with two children. |

Dawn Westfall, MPT E-mail: dawn.westfall@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Dawn graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. She has been involved in research exploring topics such as Yoga during pregnancy, fall risk in the elderly and balance. Dawn has presented her research on the effects of sleep on balance in pregnant women at the Ohio Physical Therapy Association's conference. Dawn has been a contributor to published research on bulimia as well as various addictive behaviors, including gambling, drug use (prescription, over-the-counter and illegal), and alcohol use/abuse. She has also presented research in poster format on fall risk in the elderly at a local university research convention. Dawn enjoys treating patients with orthopedic conditions focusing on oral facial and TMJ pain/dysfunction. Her background in gymnastics and cheerleading has contributed to her interest in treating sports injuries and orthopedic problems as well. |
